Crew Tools Best Practices for COVID Compliance

In an effort to keep productions safe during this unprecedented time, Studios are introducing new protocols that crews will be asked to track digitally.
The Crew Tools Inventory Index offers customizable options that can be adopted for tracking sanitation and staying compliant with new COVID rules.
Customize Statuses for Sanitation
Create custom Statuses to track sanitation at the Inventory level. All Statuses can be color-coded to provide a clear visual for you and your team. We recommend the following Statuses:
- Sanitized
- Unsanitized
- In Use
To add or edit Statuses:
- Click Inventory in the top navigation bar to go to the Inventory Index.
- Click the horizontal Ellipsis at the top of the table.
- Select Edit Custom Statuses.
- Make sure the correct department is selected: Costumes, Props, or Set Dec.
- Click:
- Add Status to create a new Status. Type a new selection in the field that says “New Status.”
- The color dot to assign a color to a specific Status.
- The Trash Can icon to delete a Status. This will clear the Status for any piece of Inventory in your department using that Status.
- Click Done.

Bulk Update Statuses
To bulk update on the Inventory Index:
- Select the Inventory you want to update by checking the boxes on the far left. Check the box in the header to select all Inventory on the page.
- Click Bulk Update.
- Update the field(s) you wish to bulk update.
- Click Save.

Create Additional Storage Locations for Supplies
Create custom Storage Locations to track sanitation Pods or Lockers.
Storage Locations can be created on the Inventory Index or the Wrap Box Index. Once they are created, you can edit them as needed.
- Click the horizontal Ellipsis at the top of the table.
- Select Edit Storage Locations.
- Click Add Storage Location if you would like to create a new one.
- Edit Storage Locations as needed.
- Click Done.
Click the Trash Can icon next to a Storage Location to permanently delete it from your production.

Bulk Update Storage Locations
To bulk update on the Inventory Index:
- Select the Inventory you want to update by checking the boxes on the far left. Check the box in the header to select all of the Inventory on the page.
- Click Bulk Update.
- Update the field(s) you wish to bulk update.
- Click Save.

Additional Fields for Notes
Quantity Note and Disposition Note are both open text fields and can be repurposed to track specific details regarding sanitation. For example, you can use these fields to log:
- Crew Member
- Date / Time
Use the Choose Columns button to display the Qty Note and Disposition Note fields on the Inventory Index.
- Click the Ellipsis in line with the item.
- Select Edit.
- Update the note fields.
- Click Save.
