Creating a Change

Changes are created from 3 different locations:

  1. Characters table on a Scene View page
  1. Scenes table on a Character View page
  1. Changes table on a Character View page

Once your Changes have been created, they are ready to be used for any Scenes and Characters.

Change View Page

Once a Character’s Changes have been created, you can start building Changes from a Change View page. Click on a blue hyperlinked Change number to get to a Change View page.  There are a few other ways to get to a Change View page:

  1. Type the Change number into the Universal Search bar

Pro Tip: By default, the Universal Search bar will show you 5 results for each category. Click on a category header to see a list of results for that specific category (max 10).

Changes Table

A Changes table shows you all of the existing Changes for a Character and is found on a Character View page. From this table, you can make edits, adjust/insert new Change numbers, or delete a Change from your production.

To update a Change number or description:

  • Click Edit All to update multiple Changes at once.
  • Click the Inline Ellipsis for a specific Change.
  • Select Edit.

To increment or decrement a Change in order to insert a new Change:

  • Click the Inline Ellipsis for a specific Change.
  • Select Edit.
  • Use the up or down arrows to adjust the Change number.

If you have multiple episodes selected in the Episode Selector, there will be a separate Changes table for each episode.

Pro Tip: Click the footer at the bottom of the Changes table to quickly jump back to the top of the page!
