Creating an Amort Episode

Jennifer Sneider Updated by Jennifer Sneider

If you are working on a traditional episodic production and want to Budget for the entire season instead of by episode, create an Amort episode.

  1. Click the Filmstrip icon to go to My Productions.
  2. Click the blue Add Episode button in line with the production name.
  3. Number this episode so it is easily identifiable (we recommend 999) and name it “Amort.”
  4. Skip the script upload and click Continue.
  5. On the Import Characters page, select Characters from previous episodes in the left column to add them to the Amort episode, or click Add All to add them all. When finished, click Continue.
  6. Select the users you’d like to have access to this episode, or click Add All to add them all. When finished, click Continue.
  7. You are taken to the Character Index where you can confirm all Characters are now added to episode 999.
  8. Click the Product Switcher and select Budgeting to start your Amort Budget.

Note: When tracking Payments in Money Tracking, be sure to select episode 999 to track all Payments to the Amort Budget.
