Adding and Updating Shoot Dates

After completing the Script Breakdown or manually entering your Scenes, you can input the shoot dates for your production. 

Adding/Updating a Shoot Date for Multiple Scenes at Once:

To add Shoot Dates for multiple Scenes from the Scene Index:

  1. Click the Ellipsis at the top of the table to launch a menu.
  2. Select Update Shoot Dates.
  3. In the Add/Update Shoot Dates Form, select one Shoot Date and all of the Scenes you want to assign to that Shoot Date from the dropdown.
  4. To Save the Shoot Date:
    1. Click Save to add one Shoot Date.
    2. Click (+) to save and add another Shoot Date.
Pro Tip: You will be logged out of the web app if you are inactive for 30 minutes. Editing does not count as activity, so remember to save your work often!


Adding a Shoot Date to an Individual Scene

You can bulk edit your Scenes on the Scene Index page or edit Scenes one-by-one using the Inline Ellipsis menu. 

To add a Shoot Date for an individual Scene from the Scene Index:

  1. Click the Inline Ellipsis for the Scene you’d like to add a Shoot Date to.
  2. Select Edit from the Inline Options menu to open the fields for editing.
  3. Click the Shoot Date field to open the calendar.
  4. Click the appropriate date in the calendar, using the arrows to change months if necessary.
  5. Click Save.

To add a Shoot Date for an individual Scene from the Scene View:

  1. Click the Sidebar Ellipsis
  2. Select Edit from the Options menu.
  3. In the Edit Scene form, click the Shoot Date field to open the calendar.
  4. Click the appropriate date in the calendar, using the arrows to change months if necessary.
  5. Click Save.
Pro Tip: Do you have a Scene that’s shooting over multiple dates? Clone the Scene in order to add the additional Shoot Date(s).
