Creating Storage Locations and Sub Locations

Jennifer Sneider Updated by Jennifer Sneider

Studio Managers, Series/Feature Owners, and Department Users can access this feature.

Storage Locations provide a convenient way to keep track of a Project’s storage spaces. For example, if your Project has multiple storage facilities for Assets between seasons or before picture lock (in case of reshoots) you can create the Storage Locations and assign Assets to the specific location. By creating these locations before your crew enters their Asset Dispositions, you can streamline how locations of Assets are marked and improve data accuracy.

Please note that Storage Locations are used on a per Feature, Series, or Warehouse basis. Storage locations cannot cross-over between Feature, Series, or Warehouse and must be created separately.

  4. A green notification will appear at the bottom of your screen confirming your new location.
