There are a number of places to add department and continuity notes in the mobile app. This article highlights the various pages where you can add notes.

Notes by Scene

Notes can be added from a Scene View page. Tap to view a Scene or search for a Scene in Universal Search.

Tap the Details tab to view the Scene Description and general Scene notes for your department. Costume, Hair, Makeup, and Props will have a field to enter any department notes for this Scene.

Note: The Scene Description is listed directly under the Scene and Script Location. The Scene Description is part of the breakdown which can only be updated on the web app.

Continuity Notes for Characters

When in a Scene View page, tap Principals or Background on the top navigation bar to add notes for each Principal or Background Character in the Scene.

From the Character View page, tap Scenes on the top navigation bar to add notes by Scene for this Character.

Costume

Tap the Pencil icon in line with a Change on the Character card to input Scene Wear Notes. If you do not have a Change assigned to the Scene, add a new or existing one in order to add notes.

Hair and Makeup

Tap the Pencil icon in line with the Look on the Character card to input Scene Look Notes. If you do not have a Look assigned to the Scene, add a new or existing one in order to add notes.

Props

Tap the Pencil icon in line with the Prop on the Character card to input Scene Use Notes. If you do not have a Prop assigned to the Scene, you can add a new or existing one in order to add notes.

Continuity Notes for Scene Props

To add or view notes for Props not associated with a Character in a Scene, tap Scene Props on the top navigation bar of a Scene View. Tap a Prop to input Scene Use Notes.

Department Notes by Character

Department notes can be added from a Character View page. Tap the Character name where you see it to view the Character or search for a Character in the Universal Search or Character Index.

Tap the Details tab to view the Character Description and general notes for the Character. Costume, Hair, Makeup, and Props will have a field to enter any department notes.

Note: The Character description is listed directly under the Character number, name and Actor name. The Character description is part of the breakdown which can only be updated on the web app.

Episode Notes for Sets

Use the Universal Search or tap Sets in the top navigation bar of a Scene View to access a Set View page.

From the Set View page, tap the Details tab to add episode-specific notes for this Set.

Note: A Set must already be assigned to a Scene in order to be able to add episode-specific notes. If it hasn't been assigned, then there will not be an option to add notes.

Actor Notes

Tap an Actor name or search for an Actor using Universal Search to navigate to an Actor View page.

From an Actor View page, tap Details on the top navigation bar to view or add department notes. The Costume, Hair, Makeup, and Props departments can add general notes regarding the Actor on this page.

The Costume department can also add Costume Fitting notes by tapping the Pencil icon on the Costume Fitting card and adding Fitting Notes.

Photo Notes

You can add notes to any photo by tapping the photo and entering your notes in the Add Notes field. The note will automatically save after you've inputted it. The Note icon in the bottom right corner of the photo will indicate that a note has been added to it.
