[Mobile] Scene View Overview

To navigate to a Scene View page, tap a Scene from the Scene Index or search for a specific Scene with Universal Search. 

All departments see a header with the Scene number and Script Location. Your department(s) determines what else is visible on a Scene View page. 

Shared Scene Information

Any user with the Edit Scenes & Characters permission can edit Scene information and add Principal Characters to the Scene.

Details Tab

Edit the Scene number, Description, Script Location, Script Day, and Shoot Date on the Details tab.

Tap the Details tab, then tap the Pencil icon. Make your edits and tap Save when done.

Note: If the Scene is omitted, it is indicated beneath the Script Location.

Principals Tab

View Characters already in the Scene and add existing Principal Characters to the Scene.

Note: To add Background Characters to a Scene, go to their Character View page.
Adding Principal Characters to Scene

Tap the Principals tab, then tap Add Existing Characters to Scene. You can select one or multiple existing Characters. When you are ready, tap Confirm.

Costume

There are 4 navigation tabs on a Scene View page. You can either tap a tab or swipe the page to navigate between tabs.

  • Details: View Scene information and add Costume department notes for the Scene
  • Principals: Add, view, or edit a Change and Scene Wear Notes for Principal Characters
  • Background: Add, view, or edit a Change and Scene Wear Notes for Background Characters
  • Gallery: View or add photos to the Scene

Hair and Makeup

There are 4 navigation tabs on a Scene View page. You can either tap a tab or swipe the page to navigate between tabs.

  • Details: View Scene information and add Hair or Makeup department notes for the Scene
  • Principals: Add, view, or edit a Look and Scene Look Notes for Principal Characters
  • Background: Add, view, or edit a Look and Scene Look Notes for Background Characters
  • Gallery: View or add photos to the Scene

Set Dec 

There are 5 navigation tabs on a Scene View page. You can either tap a tab or swipe the page to navigate between tabs.

  • Details: View Scene information
  • Principals: View Principal Characters in a Scene
  • Background: View Background Characters in a Scene
  • Sets: View or add photos to Sets

Props

There are 5 navigation tabs on a Scene View page. You can either tap a tab or swipe the page to navigate between tabs.

  • Details: View Scene information and add Props department notes for the Scene
  • Principals: View Principal Characters in the Scene and the Props used by each
  • Background: View Background Characters in the Scene and the Props used by each
  • Scene Props: View or add Scene Props
  • Gallery: View or add photos to the Scene 

Multi-Department

Selecting more than one department in the Department Selector allows you to see all the information for each department at the same time. 

For example, if you have Costume, Hair, and Makeup selected, you have the option to add a Change or a Look from the Principals tab.
